So yesterday at work I saw these girls and one of them was wearing this amazing pair of pants that looked really Scandinavian, a style that I tried really hard to find when I was in Denmark but failed at finding for a decent price. So I asked her where she got them and of course she says “Denmark”…
i’m applying for a DIS internship. if that fails, wanna be au pairs together? i gotta gotta gotta get back there too… copenhagen is still calling me.
a lovely post with lots of images. i didn’t really realize how prolific they were until i looked at this. and then people in colorado don’t want to have christo + jean claude’s work shown?? i don’t think they realize that most cities would be incredibly honored to show this artist duo’s work.
“Writing about photographs is a risk. The first sign of a good photograph is that it makes you want to say something about it. The second sign is that it makes whatever you say seem inadequate. The best photographs entice commentary then demean it, stimulating reaction and then cutting it off, producing noise only to extinguish it. The image actively silences the viewer.”—Mark Wrigley”—
